Project skill level: Beginner This pattern uses US and [UK] Terms. Inspiration for the pattern … Menopause! Now, if you'll excuse me, I simply must stick my head in the freezer. - Samantha Jones, Sex in the City If you are a woman of a certain age, then you know the benefit of layering, or more importantly un-layering for those power-surge moments, aka hot flashes. I call this the 'Winter' Tank Top because it's ideal for wearing under a cardigan or sweater on those cold Fall, Winter or even Spring days, and in the event you experience a private Summer, you can un-layer down to the tank for relief! This tank works well with Worsted (weight 4) acrylic yarn for fall and winter, DK (weight 3) acrylic or Worsted cotton yarn for spring and summer so that you can have a tank for every season. Whatever yarn you use, make sure you use the suggested hook size that works best. The pattern is written with customisation in mind, so I encourage you to experiment with dif

Project skill level: Beginner This pattern uses US and [UK] Terms. The hubs and I have booked our first Summer Festival of the year which inspired me to design this Festival Tube Top! Made with lightweight, DK yarn, it is light enough to wear during the day, and will easily transition into the night-time festivities! For this quick & easy project I used four colours representing the colours of Africa, and I made another one using just one bold colour to show you another option! I think both look fabulous. You can modify your colour choices to your own taste!  I used approximately 98 grams of yarn, which is around 321 yards [294 meters].
