Festival Tube Top

Image
Project skill level: Beginner This pattern uses US and [UK] Terms. The hubs and I have booked our first Summer Festival of the year which inspired me to design this Festival Tube Top! Made with lightweight, DK yarn, it is light enough to wear during the day, and will easily transition into the night-time festivities! For this quick & easy project I used four colours representing the colours of Africa, and I made another one using just one bold colour to show you another option! I think both look fabulous. You can modify your colour choices to your own taste!  I used approximately 98 grams of yarn, which is around 321 yards [294 meters]. Braided & Ribbed 2-in-1 Cowl

Project Skill Level – Advanced Beginner This Pattern Uses US & [UK Terms] On the heels of creating my version of the Braided & Ribbed 2-in-1 Beanie , I decided to create the matching cowl because I love a matching set … LOL! This Cowl is what I called a ‘transitional’ piece as it is ideal for wearing in between seasons, or on those cool summer nights when you want a little added warmth. I am always cold, so it seems perfectly normal to have a cowl or hat on hand at any given time. I used approximately 115 yards [105 meters] of Hayfield Bonus Aran w/Wool in the Maize colourway. If you haven't done so already, please join my  Facebook Group  and share pics of your finished cowl there. Materials: Worsted Weight #4 Yarn  6.0mm Hook Scissors Yarn Needle Sizes: Adult – One-size fits most. Cowl Dimensions: 11.5” [30cm] wide x 6” [16cm] tall. Gauge:  First 5 rows of the pattern, 7 stitches per row = 2 inches. Stitches & Abbreviations: •      Chain (CH) - Yarn over. Pull through
