Textured Crochet Boot Cuffs

Materials:
Worsted Weight #4 Yarn
5mm Hook
Tape Measure
Scissors

Sizes - Adult:
Small -
Calf Circumference: 13"-14"
Cuff Circumference: 12"-13"
Cuff Height:
4.5"-5.5"
Medium -
Calf Circumference: 15"-16"
Cuff Circumference: 14"-15"
Cuff Height:
5"-6"
Large -
Calf Circumference: 17"-18"
Cuff Circumference: 15"-17"
Cuff Height:
5"-6.5"
Extra Large -
Calf Circumference: 19"-20"
Cuff Circumference: 17"-19"
Cuff Height:
6.5"-7.5"
This pattern is for a size medium. For other sizes, use this size guide for your starting chain.
Gauge: 6 Rows of the Pattern = 2"

Stitches & Abbreviations:
- Chain (CH) - Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Pull through stitch and loop.
- Single Crochet, Back Bump (SC BB) – Insert hook into the back bump of the stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.
- Single Crochet (SC) – Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.
- Half Double Crochet (HDC) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 3 loops.
- Double Crochet (DC) – Yarn over. Insert hook into stitch. Yarn over. Draw up loop. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.
- Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC) - Yarn over. Insert your hook from front to back and then from back to front going around the DC from the previous row. The hook should now be positioned horizontally behind the double crochet that you’re working around. Yarn over and draw the yarn around the post of the stitch. You now have 3 loops on the hook. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.
- Back Post Double Crochet (BPDC) - Yarn over. Insert your hook from back to front and then from front to back going around the DC from the previous row. The hook should now be positioned horizontally in front of the double crochet that you’re working around. Yarn over and draw the yarn behind the post of the stitch. You now have 3 loops on the hook. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops. Yarn over. Pull through 2 loops.
- Stitch(es) – ST(s)
- Slip Stitch - SS
- CH 1 and CH 2 do not count as a ST.
- Make sure you count your STs.

Round 1: CH 1, SC in the same ST, SC BB in the remaining STs around, join with a SS into the first SC of the round. (45)
Round 2: CH 1, HDC in the same ST and in each ST around, join with a SS into the first HDC of the round. (45)
Round 3: CH 2 DC in the same ST and in each ST around, join with a SS into the first DC of the round. (45)
Round 4: CH 1, SC in the same ST and in each ST around, join with a SS into the first SC of the round. (45)
Round 5: CH 1, SC in the same ST and in each ST around, join with a SS into the first SC of the round. (45)
Round 6: CH 2 DC in the same ST and in each ST around, join with a SS into the first DC of the round. (45)
Round 7: CH 1, HDC in the same ST and in each ST around, join with a SS into the first HDC of the round. (45)
Round 8: CH 1, SC in the same ST and in each ST around, join with a SS into the first SC of the round. (45)
Round 9: CH 2 DC in the same ST and in each ST around, join with a SS into the first DC of the round. (45)
Round 10: CH 2, *FPDC in the same ST, BPDC in the next ST, repeat from * around, join with a SS into the first FPDC of the round. (45)
Repeat 'Round 10' four times. (The project totals 14 rounds)
Tie off.
Weave ends.
